At 22, Aldo began working in Ettore Sottsass’s studio. In 1980 he was one of the founders of Sottsass & Associati, where he remained for over ten years carrying out projects in Europe, Asia and America. In the same 1980 Aldo Cibic was one of the founders with Sottsass of Memphis, the revolutionary collective of designers who will radically transform the world design landscape.


With the establishment of Up & Up in 1969, marble takes on new forms and explores new applications becoming the favorite material of the greatest designers.
