Giuseppe Raboni – Partner

Giuseppe Raboni was born in Milano where he graduated in

Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano. He worked with Gae Aulenti for several projects in Paris and in Barcelona, in particular the Musée d’Orsay and MNAC. He returned to Italy in 1994 to join the studio of Rosanna Monzini, in which he is currently a partner.

The Monzini Raboni Studio specializes in renovating high end residential projects. In some cases these have a strong architectural component, in which the design spans from the construction all the way to the furniture selection, in others the design involves a careful balance between exitinghistorical biuildings and contemporary interiors. Giuseppe also designed for luxury retail brands such as the Enrico Coveri stores (globally), the Luciano Barbera store in via Montenapoleone, and the flagship store for Rizzoli.

Giuseppe is also a talented prodcut designer and has worked with several international producers.

Michelle Montefusco – Design Director

Michelle is trained as an architect with a passion for interior design, particularly high end residential and hospitality. Born in London, she grew up between Canada and Italy and has worked in Milan and Los Angeles, before coming to London in 2015. In 2018 she joined the Studio Monzini Raboni as design director and works between Milan and London.

Graduating with honours in Architecture from the Politecnico of Milano, Michelle started her career in Architecture, first in LA for NBBJ, then in Milan for Piero LIssoni. Here she developed a true passion for interiors that quickly led her to specialize in hospitality, first In Piero Lissoni’s office, then for Matteo Thun and partners, and lastly in London for Yoo (founded by Philippe Starck with John Hitchcox). For Yoo Michelle has been lead designer for projects globally, from the USA to India to Saudi Arabia.

In the course of her work in interior design Michelle has developed a strong expertise in materials and finishes, and has built strong relationships with well established brands, as well as with highly specialized Italian furniture producers.
